Curator is where you make the playlists

Flowvibe Curator, an upcoming playlist maker for artists, DJs or anyone who enjoys mix tapes

What is it?

  • Flowvibe Curator is a web app
  • It's a "Playlist maker" portal
  • You create and publish playlists for sharing via a short link or via the developer API (more on that later)
  • Manage the playlist theme and look & feel: colours, videos and artworks
  • Tweak and tune a playlist for every supported streaming platform

It's coming soon, so this is a progress report…

The focus this week has been mainly to complete core functionality around making playlists available for sharing. As an artist, a playlist maker, a DJ or just someone who likes to build playlists or "mix tapes", Flowvibe Curator is sort of the central hub for this process.

Building a playlist begins with the playlist details. The first version will allow one to set a title, description and attribution as well as tuning the look and feel of the playlist. Flowvibe for iOS already uses colours and icons, so I thought I'd bring this to Curator as well, making the theme options consistent.

Curator also has a dedicated section for uploading artworks. You're free to upload an unlimited number of images and videos to accompany the playlist. Flowvibe uses the hopping Bunny platform, so all playlist-related content is always very fast to load.
